New Land Enterprises: Rhythm Apartments2021-01-26T20:36:52+00:00

Tim Gokhman, Director of New Land Enterprises approached Brothers Interiors in the spring of 2017 with a design challenge to come up with the most unique apartment lobby in Milwaukee. Tim’s Rhythm Apartments building on North Water Street was in its final stages of construction and he needed Brothers Interiors to help take it over the finish line.

As one of the largest developers in the Milwaukee Area, New Land Enterprise owns some of the highest quality residential and commercial real estate in the city. Located in the heart of the East Side, Rhythm offers the most innovative amenities in the industry. Radiant (heated) wood-grain floors, granite countertops, and high-end stainless steel appliances all designed for ultra-efficient living. A truly state-of-the-art building, Rhythm embraces studio design. Each apartment is outfitted with a dining room table for 5 that converts into a QUEEN BED.

Tim Gokhman, along with Eppstein Uhen Architects, understood that their creation required a furniture design firm capable of generating a cutting edge contemporary lobby. As the Wisconsin provider of West Elm Workspace furniture, Brothers Interiors worked with New Land Enterprises to design a lobby that everyone could enjoy.

The below images show how the programmed design plays off both modern and retro elements within the beautiful community room at Rhythm’s entrance level. The design utilizing West Elm Workspace and OFS Brands Furniture as well as a custom wire mesh dividing wall that was created to provide separation and mystery in what was originally a very large open space.
