Community Involvement

The Caddy Shack Golf Outing

Launched in 2017 by Coakley Brothers Workplace Consultant Lisa Kauffman, the Caddy Shack Golf Outing is a unique 12 hole golf tournament bringing together a diverse group of Milwaukee area business executives. All proceeds benefit the Sojourner Family Peace Center and its ongoing commitment to supporting victims of domestic violence.

Sojourner Family Peace Center

The mission of Sojourner is to ensure the safety of victims of family violence and provide a pathway out of violence for both victims and abusers through opportunities to make positive and lasting changes for themselves and their children. The impact Sojourner has on families in our community is one that needs everyone’s support. We are honored to have provided our support to this amazing organization for over 20 years.

A highlight of our career as a design, furniture and service provider was participating in the transformation of the 60,000 square foot Family Peace Center that opened on Milwaukee’s north side in the Fall of 2015.

Cristo Rey Partnership

The Cristo Rey Network® is the only network of high schools in the country that integrate four years of rigorous college preparatory academics with four years of professional work experience through the Corporate Work Study Program. Comprised of 32 Catholic college preparatory schools that today serve more than 10,700 students across 21 states and D.C., the program collectively claims 11,500 graduates. The Cristo Rey Network delivers a powerful and innovative approach to inner-city education that equips students from economically-disadvantaged families with the knowledge, character, and skills to transform their lives.

Coakley Brothers and Brothers Interiors support the mission of Cristo Rey. We have benefited extensively from the work performed by 4 students that worked with our team from 2016-2018.

Walker’s Point Association

Our neighborhood has a rich history in entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and diversity. The purpose of the WPA is to increase community business and residential connections to make for a safer, cleaner, and better informed neighborhood. Coakley Brothers and Brothers Interiors play a strong role in the work Walkers Point Association (WPA) does. According to the WPA mission, it serves as a voice for all stakeholders and influences development that honors the history and aligns current reality with the spirit of Walker’s Point. The priorities for green and sustainable development include craft industries, fresh water industry, mixed housing and safety initiatives that support the economic and social diversity of the neighborhood. Funding towards the WPA goes toward neighborhood communication, gatherings, beautification, safety initiatives, residential support, and sustainability. The WPA is a 501C3 non-profit group.

Milwaukee Bucks Community Foundation

In Partnership with the Milwaukee Bucks Community Foundation, Coakley Brothers and Brothers Interiors hosted the First Annual “Cristo Rey Recruiting Night” at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in March of 2016 as the Milwaukee Bucks hosted and defeated the New York Knicks.

Coakley Brothers purchased the largest single block of tickets by one corporation in Bucks history as we welcomed over 500 Cristo Rey Students, Families and Coakley Brothers staff for a fun evening and game.

Cristo Rey used this event as an official part of their 2016-2017 school year recruiting kickoff.
